Judge Profile - Paddy SMITH

I remember clearly my love affair with smoke Persians; it started at the 1976 National Show, which was what I wanted. But it was not until the family were at school that I decided to join the local Club and become a breeder of cats! The Silvermist prefix started with smoke Persians.

When I qualified as a judge and had handled a few exotics I decided to have a go and have to admit being totally hooked, with the cuddly teddy bears. Now jointly in the Glemnallings prefix, I have the exotics and my partner has the Persians. 1 qualified as a senior judge in 1996 and became Judges Registrar in 1999, which has been an interesting and challenging position.
