Somali
| The Somali is the longhaired version of the Abyssinian and shares the same body shape. The coat which is semi long and very soft, is double coated and should be dense. Ideally it should have a ruff and breeches to match the full brush tail. Ticking is not so apparent in the longer hair and is slow to develop. The Somali has an even disposition with a soft voice, they are gentle and affectionate, although some can be shy. Agile and athletic, but less boisterous than the Abyssinian, they need a fair amount of space. |
